Power in Motion
We usually think of swans as extremely delicate and static creatures. Here, I wanted to capture their other side: raw energy and strength. I caught the exact fraction of a second when its wings hit the water. I turned it into black and white so the focus falls entirely on the shape, the frozen water drops, and the movement.

Silence and Noise
Taken at the Santa Susanna Springs, this is probably my favorite photo from that day. I was drawn to the huge contrast right in front of me: at the top, the swan was floating gracefully in perfect, mirror-like silence. And right below it, the water was crashing down with power and noise. I chose to leave it in black and white to emphasize this difference between calm and chaos
